Doors slide open

Doors slide shut

Another day

Another ride

Up once more to the twelfth floor

Going up!

Her eyes never really focused

Fate stepped in this day

He was bound for level three

How she tried to disregard his presence

Doors slid open yet he remained

Going up!

Nine extra floors he travelled

On floor twelve she stepped off

Curiosity rippled in her tummy

Doors slide shut

Going down!

He'd gone nine extra floors

Just to be with her~
